This study presents a robot‐assisted remote rehabilitation system for postoperative ankle fractures. The 2.634 kg modular system uses wireless control and deep learning to predict force delays, achieving 100 Hz control (normalized root mean square error ≤ 10.89%).

ABSTRACT Donepezil hydrochloride, used to treat Alzheimer's disease, is typically initiated at a low dose and titrated to minimize gastrointestinal side effects. Despite its favorable safety profile, the patient developed severe anorexia, dehydration, and electrocardiographic abnormalities.

The QT interval is a function of ventricular repolarization time and is measured from the onset of the QRS complex to the end of the T wave. The length of this interval is inversely related to heart rate. A prolonged QT interval is most often secondary to the use of Type I antidysrhythmic medications (quinidine, procainamide).

Hypocalcemia-Induced QT Interval Prolongation
Cardiology, 2022An 87-year-old man with a history of transcatheter aortic valve replacement, pulmonary hypertension, diastolic dysfunction with preserved systolic function, and myelofibrosis had a 12-lead ECG showed a prolonged QT interval of 508 ms with heart-rate correction placing it in the 99th percentile of the population.

Prolonged corrected QT dispersion
Oncology Reports, 1997The anthracyclines are antibiotics effective in the treatment of many malignancies. However, their usefulness is limited by the development of potentially acute or chronic cardiotoxicity. No definitive guidelines exist for monitoring cardiac function during and after anthracyclines although methods have been suggested.

QT interval prolongation can be caused by several drugs. Torsade de pointes (TdP) is a form of ventricular proarrhythmia associated with QT interval prolongation, and in some cases, the development of U waves. The mechanism of TdP is believed to be related to an abnormality of repolarization in the ventricular myocardium and the development of early ...
