Active and Versatile ROP Aluminum Catalysts for the Controlled Limonene Oxide Polymerization and Copolymerization With Anhydrides

Highly active aluminum catalysts for the ring‐opening copolymerization of LO and PA able to produce syndiotactic alternating copolyester within 3 h are presented. The role of DMAP as cocatalysts for the copolymerization is key and is involved in the opening of the anhydride, however, it blocks the catalytic activity for the LO ROP.

This paper describes the applicability of a Hg-electroplated-Pt ultramicroelectrode in the quantification of elemental sulphur in naphtha samples by square-wave voltammetry. A reproducible deposition methodology was studied and is reported in this paper.

Morita–Baylis–Hillman modifications on hydroformylated (R)-limonene

We report the sequential hydroformylation of (R)-limonene followed by Morita–Baylis–Hillman (MBH) coupling to give two new MBH adducts derived from methyl acrylate (adduct 1, 32% isolated yield) and acrylonitrile (adduct 2, 95% isolated yield).
