TRAJECTORIES GENERATED BY MECHANISMS CONTAINING THE CHEBYSHEV DYAD [PDF]
We study the trajectories generated by the articulated quadrangle, crank-rod and articulated pentagon mechanisms, each containing the Chebyshev dyad, characterized by the equality of three segments (two welded together), forming a RRR-type dyad.

On the Pauli graphs of N-qudits [PDF]
A comprehensive graph theoretical and finite geometrical study of the commutation relations between the generalized Pauli operators of N-qudits is performed in which vertices/points correspond to the operators and edges/lines join commuting pairs of them.

New features on yttria‐stabilized zirconia after exposure at 1500°C: Newly discovered pyramidal structures on an old material. After exposure at 1550°C on the cross section of YSZ new features, namely pyramidal structures are discovered. These structures grow with time, increase in numbers, appear as singularities, are often arranged in strings, and ...

Preliminary findings from geological mapping of the Hokusai (H5) quadrangle of Mercury [PDF]
Quadrangle geological maps from Mariner 10 data cover 45% of the surface of Mercury at 1:5M scale. Orbital MESSENGER data, which cover the entire planetary surface, can now be used to produce finer scale geological maps, including regions unseen by ...

Intriguing sets of partial quadrangles
The point-line geometry known as a \textit{partial quadrangle} (introduced by Cameron in 1975) has the property that for every point/line non-incident pair $(P,\ell)$, there is at most one line through $P$ concurrent with $\ell$.

Microstructure Evolution of a VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy After Synthesis, Swaging, and Annealing
The synthesis and processing (rotary swaging and annealing) of the novel VMnFeCoNi alloy is investigated, alongside the estimation of the grain size effect on hardness. Analysis of a wide grain size range of recrystallized microstructures (12–210 µm) reveals a low annealing twin density.

An Experimental Examination of Binge Watching and Narrative Engagement
Increasingly, audiences are engaging with media narratives through the practice of binge watching. The effects of binge watching are largely unknown, although early research suggests binge watching may be motivated by a need for escape and could be ...
