Surface Diffusion in SnTe‐PbTe Monolayer Lateral Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The lateral heterostructures between 2D materials often suffer from the interdiffusion at the interfaces. Here, a surface diffusion mechanism is found to be dominating at the interfaces between semiconducting SnTe and PbTe monolayers. Atomically sharp interfaces can be achieved by suppressing this diffusion process. ABSTRACT The construction of complex

Quadrangle Detection Based on A Robust Line Tracker Using Multiple Kalman Models

open access: yesJournal of ICT Research and Applications, 2014
Quadrangle and line tracking are essential for many real world applications of computer vision. In this paper, we propose a computationally efficient line tracker that can robustly and accurately track lines in an image.

Universal Electronic‐Structure Relationship Governing Intrinsic Magnetic Properties in Permanent Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Permanent magnets derive their extraordinary strength from deep, universal electronic‐structure principles that control magnetization, anisotropy, and intrinsic performance. This work uncovers those governing rules, examines modern modeling and AI‐driven discovery methods, identifies critical bottlenecks, and reveals electronic fingerprints shared ...

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN METAMORPHISM DEGREE AND LIBERATION SIZE OF COMPACT ITABIRITES FROM THE IRON QUADRANGLE

open access: yesTecnologia em Metalurgia, Materiais e Mineração, 2015
Iron ore exploited in Brazil can be classified into several lithological types which have distinct features. The progress of mining over time leads to scarcity of high grade iron ores, leading to the exploitation of poor, contaminated and compact ores.

Automorphisms of F 4 quadrangles [PDF]

open access: yesMathematische Annalen, 2004
The Moufang generalized quadrangles \(Q\) have been completely classified in [\textit{J. Tits} and \textit{R. Weiss}, Moufang polygons (Springer Monographs in Mathematics. Berlin: Springer) (2002; Zbl 1010.20017)] by using the group \(G^+\) generated by all root groups.

Bioinspired Polypeptide Dendrimer‐Modified Thin‐Film Composite Membranes for Selective Lithium‐Magnesium Separation with DFT Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We fabricated a biomimetic dendrimer‐modified thin‐film nanocomposite membrane with a coordination‐assisted ion‐selective interface. pH‐responsive polypeptide sites preferentially bind Mg2+ and promote Li+ permeation, as predicted by density functional theory calculations of metal‐ligand interactions.

Bar 1-Visibility Drawings of 1-Planar Graphs

open access: yes, 2013
A bar 1-visibility drawing of a graph $G$ is a drawing of $G$ where each vertex is drawn as a horizontal line segment called a bar, each edge is drawn as a vertical line segment where the vertical line segment representing an edge must connect the ...
