Reformulating mixed-integer quadratically constrained quadratic programs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
It is well known that semidefinite programming (SDP) can be used to derive useful relaxations for a variety of optimisation problems. Moreover, in the particular case of mixed-integer quadratic programs, SDP has been used to reformulate problems, rather ...

Improving The Performance of Quadratic Boost Converter By Adding Auxiliary Inductor

open access: yesAl-Iraqia Journal for Scientific Engineering Research, 2023
This paper suggests a new method to achieve input current ripple (ICR) reduction of the quadratic boost converter (QBC). The planned converter is represented by adding an auxiliary inductor connected in a series with the bootstrapping diode to a QBC ...

Unified Phase‐Field Framework for Antiferroelectric, Ferroelectric and Dielectric Phases: Application to HZO Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
HfxZr1−xO2${\rm Hf}_x{\rm Zr}_{1-x}{\rm O}_2$ offers CMOS‐compatible nanoscale ferroelectricity yet suffers from a high Ec${\rm E}_c$ demanding large operating voltages. A unified phase‐field framework spanning AFE/FE/DE phases shows how FE grains soften neighboring AFE grains over λ$\lambda$ ≈$\approx$ 22–37 nm.
