In Situ Copper Electroplating Turns Material Extrusion 3D Printers Into Metal–Polymer Hybrid Fabricators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An in situ electroplating approach for MEX 3D printing is proposed, enabling copper deposition during the fabrication of conductive polymers. The method combines a printer‐integrated plating head, ML‐based g‐code control, and stop‐and‐go printing, achieving near‐bulk copper conductivity and enabling fully embedded, assembly‐free electronic components ...

Wet Ball Milling Synthesis of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles for High‐Efficiency, Controllable Magnetic Hyperthermia in Ovarian Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A wet ball‐milling method is presented to synthesize iron magnetic nanoparticles and evaluate their magnetic hyperthermia performance. Optimized particles (∼270 nm, Ms ∼114 emu/g) achieve ∼50°C heating under clinically safe alternating magnetic fields, while pulsed‐field operation enables controlled temperature regulation (∼30°C).

Rapid convergence of approximate solutions for singular differential systems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
In this article we show the existence and approximation of solutions for a class of singular differential system with initial value condition. We present a generalized quasilinearization method for obtain monotone iterative sequences of approximate ...

From Strain to Pressure: Atomically Resolved Mechanisms of Stress Dissipation in Emissive, Elastically Deformable Molecular Crystals Under Ambient and High Pressure

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular crystals must withstand both isotropic and anisotropic stress to function in flexible optoelectronics and high‐pressure devices. In situ high‐pressure single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction coupled with DFT‐D computations reveal how an emissive molecular crystal with interdigitated packing bends elastically at ambient‐pressure and remains ...

Nonlocomotory Robotic Strategies for Dynamic Rotation Control in Terrestrial Robots: A Review

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Terrestrial robots increasingly require rapid body rotation to maintain stability and agility in complex environments. This review shows nonlocomotory rotational control strategies that operate without ground contact, including reaction wheels, tails, bars, limbs, and thrusters.

Topological configurations of singularities for quadratic differential systems

open access: yes, 2018
In [1-7] the authors proved that there are at least 1879 and at most 1880 di erent geometric con gurations of singularities of quadratic di erential systems in the plane. This classi cation is completely algebraic and done in terms of invariant polynomials and it is ner than the classi cation of quadratic systems according to the topological classi ...

Multidirectional Motion Strategy of Miniature Water Surface Robot Actuated by Single Exciter

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A novel multidirectional motion strategy on the water surface based on a single exciter is proposed, and a single‐exciter single‐plate module is developed for actuation. The driving forces generation mechanism of the module is revealed from the perspective of the asymmetric surface wave field.

Family of quadratic differential systems with invariant hyperbolas

open access: yes, 2014
In this article we consider the class QSf of all quadratic systems possessing a finite number of singularities finite and infinite. Using the algebraic invariant theory we provided necessary and sufficient conditions for a system in QSf to have invariant hyperbolas in terms of its coefficients.
