Investigating a Generalized Fractional Quadratic Integral Equation

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
In this article, we investigate the analytical and approximate solutions for a fractional quadratic integral equation in the frame of the generalized Riemann–Liouville fractional integral operator with respect to another function.

Sharp weights in the Cauchy problem for nonlinear Schrodinger equations with potential [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We review different properties related to the Cauchy problem for the (nonlinear) Schrodinger equation with a smooth potential. For energy-subcritical nonlinearities and at most quadratic potentials, we investigate the necessary decay in space in order ...

Quadratic functional equations of Pexider type

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
First, the quadratic functional equation of Pexider type will be solved. By applying this result, we will also solve some functional equations of Pexider type which are closely associated with the quadratic equation.

On the quadratic equations for odeco tensors

open access: yes, 2022
Elina Robeva discovered quadratic equations satisfied by orthogonally decomposable ("odeco") tensors. Boralevi-Draisma-Horobeţ-Robeva then proved that, over the real numbers, these equations characterise odeco tensors. This raises the question to what extent they also characterise the Zariski-closure of the set of odeco tensors over the complex numbers.

RELATIVISTIC STELLAR MODEL ADMITTING A QUADRATIC EQUATION OF STATE [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A class of solutions describing the interior of a static spherically symmetric compact anisotropic star is reported. The analytic solution has been obtained by utilizing the Finch and Skea [Class.

Stability of an n-variable mixed type functional equation in probabilistic modular spaces

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2020
In this research paper, we solve a new n-variable mixed type additive-quadratic functional equation and prove the Ulam stability of the new n-variable mixed type additive-quadratic functional equation in probabilistic modular spaces by using fixed point ...

A multidimensionally consistent version of Hirota's discrete KdV equation

open access: yes, 2011
A multidimensionally consistent generalisation of Hirota's discrete KdV equation is proposed, it is a quad equation defined by a polynomial that is quadratic in each variable.

Cubic and quartic transformations of the sixth Painleve equation in terms of Riemann-Hilbert correspondence

open access: yes, 2011
A starting point of this paper is a classification of quadratic polynomial transformations of the monodromy manifold for the 2x2 isomonodromic Fuchsian systems associated to the Painleve VI equation.
