Special solutions for Ricci flow equation in 2D using the linearization approach
The 2D Ricci flow equation in the conformal gauge is studied using the linearization approach. Using a non-linear substitution of logarithmic type, the emergent quadratic equation is split in various ways.

In this study, exciting new bi‐/multi‐linear elastic behavior of soft elastic composites that accompany the activation of wrinkling in the embedded interfacial layers is analyzed. The new features and performance of these composite materials, including dramatic enhancements in energy storage, can be tailored by the concentration of interfacial layers ...

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Quadratic Diophantine equations in the rational and quadratic fields [PDF]
with integral coefficients from the field of rational numbers or from some quadratic field. The quantity A is defined for convenient reference. We can take ap, O without any loss of generality, by the use (if necessary) of linear transformations of determinant unity (so that the number of integral solutions is not changed).

Geodesic deviation in pp-wave spacetimes of quadratic curvature gravity
We write the equation of geodesic deviations in the spacetime of $pp$-waves in terms of the Newman-Penrose scalars and apply it to study gravitational waves in quadratic curvature gravity.

From Nature to Engineering: Mortar Volume and Interfacial Mechanics in Bioinspired Ceramics
Inspired by natural armors like nacre, this study explores how varying the volume fraction of the soft mortar layer impacts the interfacial strength and toughness of bioinspired ceramics. Experimental and computational analysis reveals that higher mortar volumes increase energy dissipation but reduce interfacial stiffness, offering insights for ...

Matrix zeros of quadratic equations
Let A be a commutative principal ideal domain and assume that \(a,b\in A\). In this paper the authors describe (up to similarity) all the matrix zeros of the polynomial (x-a)(x-b). In terms of representation theory, they also describe and enumerate all representations of the ring A[x]/(x- a)(x-b)A[x] over A.

This study presents a 3D representative volume element‐based simulation approach to predict mesoscopic residual stress and strain fields in silicon solid solution‐strengthened ductile cast iron. By modeling phase transformation kinetics with an enhanced Johnson–Mehl–Avrami–Kolmogorov model, the effects of varying cooling rates on residual stresses are ...
