Real‐Time 3D Ultrasound Imaging with an Ultra‐Sparse, Low Power Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents a novel, ultra‐sparse ultrasound architecture that paves the way for wearable real‐time 3D imaging. By integrating a unique convolutional array with chirped data acquisition, the system achieves high‐resolution volumetric scans at a fraction of the power and hardware complexity.

Robust Fusion Filtering for Multisensor Time-Varying Uncertain Systems: The Finite Horizon Case

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2016
The robust H∞ fusion filtering problem is considered for linear time-varying uncertain systems observed by multiple sensors. A performance index function for this problem is defined as an indefinite quadratic inequality which is solved by the projection ...

Quadratic Jordan Triple Systems

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics Research, 2019
In this work, We show that every Jordan triple system can be viewed as a T∗extension of another one or an ideal of co-dimension one of a Jordan triple system whose represent the T∗extension of another Jordan triple system. Moreover, several result involving the structure of quadratic Jordan triple systems are given.

Counterintuitive Fluorescence Blue Shift in Symmetry Breaking Dicationic Bis(indolium) with Two‐Photon Absorption Properties for NIR Living Cell Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Highly water‐soluble dicationic bis(indolium) dyes have been prepared, showing excellent two‐photon absorption and light emission. Their fluorescence behavior discloses an unusual increasing blue shift with increasing solvent polarity, which, in parallel, is beneficial for enhanced detection in biological media.

Quadratic forms associated to stratifying systems

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2006
A well-known result of \textit{C. M. Ringel} [Tame algebras and integral quadratic forms. Lect. Notes Math. 1099 (1984; Zbl 0546.16013)] states that a representation-directed algebra is representation-finite. Moreover, if it possesses a sincere indecomposable module then the dimension vector map furnishes a bijection between the isomorphism classes of ...

Bioorthogonal Photoactivation of 2‐Nitrobenzyl Caged Doxorubicin Anticancer Prodrugs on Gold Nanostars

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bioorthogonal chemistry was applied to intracellularly photoactivate Doxorubicin (Dox) using gold nanostars (AuNSt) and near‐infrared (NIR) light. Two prodrugs were used: one photoactivatable, masked with 2‐nitrobenzyl carbamate (proDox1) and another photolabile, masked with 2‐nitrobenzyl diol (proDox2), which was attached to the AuNSt surface.

Recent Progress on Nonlinear Schrödinger Systems with Quadratic Interactions

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
The study of nonlinear Schrödinger systems with quadratic interactions has attracted much attention in the recent years. In this paper, we summarize time decay estimates of small solutions to the systems under the mass resonance condition in 2 ...

Adaptive Twisting Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces torque‐controlled twisting metamaterials as a transformative platform for adaptive crashworthiness. By combining multiscale predictive modeling with experimental validation on additively manufactured gyroids, it demonstrates tunable stiffness, collapse stress, and energy absorption.

Quadratic Performance Analysis of Switched Affine Time–Varying Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2018
We analyze quadratic performance for switched systems which are composed of a finite set of affine time-varying subsystems, where both subsystem matrices and affine vectors are switched, and no single subsystem has desired quadratic performance.

Linear Systems of Real Quadratic Forms [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1964
1. It is natural to consider invariantive properties of k-dimensional linear systems of real quadratic forms over Rn (or quadratic forms over Rn with values in RkI 2< k5 In(n + 1)), because of the occurrence of such objects at least in the following contexts: in the second fundamental form of classical differential geometry for n-dimensional manifolds ...
