Arachnoid cyst in the quadrigeminal cistern

World Neurosurgery, 1986
Two cases of arachnoid cysts in the quadrigeminal cistern are presented, and one occurred in an adult. Signs and symptoms of increased intracranial pressure were noted, and obstructive hydrocephalus was shown by computed tomography scans in both cases. Arachnoid cysts in the quadrigeminal cistern have rarely been reported, especially in adults.

Journal of Clinical Neuroscience, 2005
Intracranial lipomas are rare benign congenital neoplasms accounting for 0.1 to 0.5% of all primary brain tumours. Approximately 50% are associated with other cerebral developmental disorders. These slow growing benign lesions are usually asymptomatic and rarely require surgery.
