ABSTRACT Geometrically nonlinear static analysis of materially imperfect composite doubly curved shells is investigated via the generalised differential quadrature method. The effects of both shear and thickness deformation are considered through a thickness‐ and shear‐deformable third‐order theory formulated in curvilinear coordinates, while the ...

Silver‐Alloyed Wide‐Bandgap (Ag,Cu)(In,Ga)S2 Thin‐Film Solar Cells With 15.5% Efficiency
This study reports improvements in compositional homogeneity, microstructure, enhanced radiative recombination, and extended carrier lifetime of CIGS absorber via Ag incorporation. The optimal Ag‐alloyed CIGS solar cells achieve 15.5% PCE and 948 mV VOC, competing with the VOC of the Ag‐free reference sample from the same batch.

Liquid‐Processed 2D Aromatic Amorphous Carbon: Defect Engineering and Universal Transport Scaling
Liquid‐processed graphene oxide (GO) thin films undergo a controllable crystalline–to–amorphous transition driven by thermal quenching. By kinetically tuning oxygen‐driven defect formation during reduction, scalable 2D aromatic amorphous carbon phases are stabilized, directly linking nanoscale disorder and defect topology to electronic transport ...

Macroelement Analysis in T-Patches Using Lagrange Polynomials
This paper investigates the derivation of global shape functions in T-meshed quadrilateral patches through transfinite interpolation and local elimination. The same shape functions may be alternatively derived starting from a background tensor product of

This study presents a computational framework treating crystalline HOFs as adaptive atomic‐scale interfaces. Catenated HOFs preserve lattice stability under load while enabling auxetic deformation and reversible nonlinearity. The results provide direct evidence that supramolecular interactions govern macroscopic resilience and structural adaptability ...

Adaptive Triangular-Quadrilateral Mesh Generation
In this paper, we begin by recalling an adaptive mesh generation method governed by isotropic and anisotropic discrete metric maps, by means of the generation of a unit mesh with respect to a riemannian structure. We propose then an automatic triangular to quadrilateral mesh conversion scheme, which generalizes the standard case to the anisotropic ...

Competitive OER catalyst for H2O splitting without using Ir is a luxury wish; Ru is an active element to do the job but often does not hold long. See how those scientists managed the task with Ni modified RuO2 suppressing Ru over‐oxidation through Oxygen Vacancy Engineering.

Explosion process of propylene oxide (PO)/Al/AlH3/air was investigated. The PO/Al/AlH3/air multiphase clouds under strong ignition detonation have reached a quasi‐detonation state. ABSTRACT Fuel‐air explosives (FAE) are an important source of explosion energy. The density advantage of aluminum hydride (AlH3) dust is obvious compared with that of liquid

Abstract Reinforced concrete (RC) beams can be subjected to torsion, and failure due to torsion is brittle and poses a significant risk to occupants. Moreover, strengthening of existing RC beams in torsion may be required due to the upgrade of the structures or as part of structural rehabilitation.
