Dynamic Analysis and Control of a Quadrocopter
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013Quadrocopter is an aerial vehicle platform which has become very popular among researchers in the recent past due to the advantages it offers over conventional helicopters. Quadrocopter is very simple structure, but it is inherently unstable from aerodynamics point of view.

Quadrocopter Vibration Damping
2020 13th International Conference "Management of large-scale system development" (MLSD), 2020The proposed work is devoted to the analysis of the operation of damping elements in a quadrocopter, shock-absorbing vibration of engines with pulling screws (as sources of vibration), and of a controller that is protected from vibration. For analysis, a 3-mass quadrocopter model and the method of electromechanical analogies are used.

Tilt-Prioritized Quadrocopter Attitude Control
IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2020This paper presents an attitude tracking control law and control allocation strategy for quadrocopters which prioritizes the vehicle’s ability to achieve a desired translational acceleration. The quadrocopter’s attitude error is split into a reduced attitude error, which describes the misalignment of the thrust direction, and a yaw error, which ...

The Recent Advance of Unmanned Quadrocopter
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014In recent years, with the rapid development of micro electro mechanical system and DSP in high operation speed and low power consumption and high polymer lithium battery, all this creates the conditions for the development of micro unmanned aerial vehicles.

We present the design of a system that allows quadrocopters to balance an inverted pendulum, throw it into the air, and catch and balance it again on a second vehicle. Based on first principles models, a launch condition for the pole is derived and used to design an optimal trajectory to throw the pole towards a second quadrocopter. An optimal catching

This paper presents a method allowing a quadrocopter with a rigidly attached racket to hit a ball towards a target. An algorithm is developed to generate an open loop trajectory guiding the vehicle to a predicted impact point - the prediction is done by integrating forward the current position and velocity estimates from a Kalman filter.
