The Projection Quality Index

Interface, 1988
Abstract Although much has been written in the 30‐year history of set‐theory about similarity relationships between set‐types, studies of this kind have generally focussed either on the inclusion relationship or on the relationship of interval‐class contents.

A Quality of Growth Index

South Asia Economic Journal, 2016
Employing decadal data for the period 1971–2011, this article constructs a quality of growth index (QGI) for major Indian states. Quality Index Methods

2009
Seafood and seafood products represent some of the most important foods in almost all types of societies around the world. Air quality indexing

International Journal of Environment and Pollution, 2009
In an attempt to meet the public's needs for information on air quality a variety of indexes have been developed and they continue to evolve. On an Index of Quality Change

Journal of the American Statistical Association, 1961
Abstract This paper discusses a multiple-regression chain-index technique for the construction of an index of quality change, and illustrates its feasibility by reference to a price index for automobiles. The interaction of our quality index with the usual Laspeyre type price index is studied.

Indexing consistency and quality

American Documentation, 1969
AbstractA measure of indexing consistency is developed based on the concept of “fuzzy sets.” It assigns a higher consistency value if indexers agree on the more important terms than if they agree on less important terms. Measures of the quality of an indexer's work and exhaustivity of indexing are also proposed.

QUALITY MEASUREMENT AND QUALITY IN PRICES INDEXES

2010
Rapid technical progress has increased the speed of quality change. Its impact has a large scale effect on a broad set of variables and it has exacerbated a latent economic problem on the measurement of true economic variables. For example, the reliability of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) has been increasingly undermined since it has been argued that ...
