A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

High‐Throughput Microfluidic‐Mediated Assembly of Layer‐By‐Layer Nanoparticles
The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of polymer films on nanoparticle (NP) surfaces is a promising technique for targeted drug delivery. Despite its success in preclinical mouse models, a current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) compliant, clinical‐scale production method has been lacking.

Efficient Ambient‐All‐Laser‐Annealed Wide Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells
First demonstration of ambient laser annealing for both self‐assembly monolayer type hole transport layer and high bandgap (1.80eV) perovskite solar cells. First 3D modeling of macroscopic and localized temperature profiles revealed the advantage of laser annealing for temperature‐sensitive substrates.

In my experience, the main causes of SharePoint performance and response issues noticed by users are not a result of SharePoint being at fault at all. They are a result of network or SQL Server issues. In my early years, I would often be frustrated when trying to troubleshoot the vague message from the help desk that “SharePoint was slow.” All of the ...

Strategies for Service Quality [PDF]
That someone can make you feel good is a quality in itself. There has been much talk within British government circles for example, about the feel‐good factor, which is constantly reminding us that it is just around the corner! Whether or not we can believe in this is another matter, but it certainly displays an awareness that making other people feel ...

Quality of service and denial of service
Proceedings of the ACM SIGCOMM workshop on Revisiting IP QoS What have we learned, why do we care? - RIPQoS '03, 2003We argue that most forms of internet QoS must provide protection against DoS attacks. To date, the most cost-effective way of improving the treatment of some traffic has been to improve the treatment of all traffic. In a well-provisioned network, protection from DoS is essentially what defines QoS.

Quality of Service and Resource Management are basic concepts and central focus in multimedia systems. Data of continuous media needs real-time processing, communication and presentation to delivery their desired media quality to the user. Hence, the overall system, i.e., each computing and communication service component in the end-to-end path must ...

Strategies for Service Quality
International Journal of Bank Marketing, 1994For many, quality circles have been a struggle, total quality management has been something to “get around to one day” and continuous improvement has just been another expression meaning total quality management, which, of course is something that we will “get around to one day”.

Service Quality Deployment: Quality Service by Design
1993The service-dominated and product-dominated sectors are just awakening from a service slumber to find a new generation of quality activities that call for systematic approaches to design and improvement. This paper proposes a methodological framework called Service Quality Deployment, to enable the creation of quality services by cross-functional ...
