Semigroups in complete lattices: quantales, modules and related topics
This monograph provides a modern introduction to the theory of quantales. First coined by C.J. Mulvey in 1986, quantales have since developed into a significant topic at the crossroads of algebra and logic, of notable interest to theoretical computer ...

The aim of this paper is to generalize fuzzy continuous posets. The concept of fuzzy subset system on fuzzy posets is introduced; some elementary definitions such as fuzzy Z‐continuous posets and fuzzy Z‐algebraic posets are given. Furthermore, we try to find some natural classes of fuzzy Z‐continuous maps under which the images of such fuzzy algebraic

$$\ell r$$-Multisemigroups, Modal Quantales and the Origin of Locality
International audienceWe introduce lr-multisemigroups as duals of modal quantales and study modal correspondences between equations in these multisemigroups and the domain and codomain axioms of modal quantales.

A quantale is a complete lattice equipped with an associative binary multiplication distributing over arbitrary joins. We define the notions of right (left, two) sided derivation and idempotent derivation and investigate the properties of them. It’s well

Generalized Fuzzy Filters in Quantales and Their Approximations
The present paper represents the behaviour of fuzzy filters and (α, β)-fuzzy filters in Quantale. The detailed study of relationship among crisp filter, fuzzy filters and (α, β)-fuzzy filters in quantale are discussed.

Quantale-valued dissimilarity [PDF]
Inspired by the theory of apartness relations of Scott, we establish a positive theory of dissimilarity valued in an involutive quantale $\mathsf{Q}$ without the aid of negation. It is demonstrated that a set equipped with a $\mathsf{Q}$-valued dissimilarity is precisely a symmetric category enriched in a subquantaloid of the quantaloid of back ...

Groupoid quantales: A non-étale setting [PDF]
We establish a bijective correspondence involving a class of unital involutive quantales and a class of groupoids whose space of units is a sober space. This class includes equivalence relations that arise from group actions. The resulting axiomatization

Reflective Full Subcategories of the Category of L‐Posets
This paper focuses on the relationship between L‐posets and complete L‐lattices from the categorical view. By considering a special class of fuzzy closure operators, we prove that the category of complete L‐lattices is a reflective full subcategory of the category of L‐posets with appropriate morphisms.

Tropological systems are points of quantales [PDF]
We address two areas in which quantales have been used. One is of a topological nature, whereby quantales or involutive quantales are seen as generalized noncommutative spaces, and its main purpose so far has been to investigate the spectrum of ...

Localization and Flatness in Quantale Theory
The study of flat ring morphisms is an important theme in commutative algebra. The purpose of this article is to develop an abstract theory of flatness in the framework of coherent quantales.
