His‐MMDM: Multi‐Domain and Multi‐Omics Translation of Histopathological Images with Diffusion Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
His‐MMDM is a diffusion model‐based framework for scalable multi‐domain and multi‐omics translation of histopathological images, enabling tasks from virtual staining, cross‐tumor knowledge transfer, and omics‐guided image editing. ABSTRACT Generative AI (GenAI) has advanced computational pathology through various image translation models.

Archimedean copula and contagion modeling in epidemiology

open access: yesNetworks and Heterogeneous Media, 2013
The aim of this paper is first to find interactions between compartments of hosts in the Ross-Macdonald Malaria transmission system. So, to make clearer this association we introduce the concordance measure and then the Kendall's tau and Spearman's rho ...

Longitudinal quantile regression in presence of informative drop-out through longitudinal-survival joint modeling

open access: yes, 2014
We propose a joint model for a time-to-event outcome and a quantile of a continuous response repeatedly measured over time. The quantile and survival processes are associated via shared latent and manifest variables.

Multi‐Tissue Genetic Regulation of RNA Editing in Pigs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents the first multi‐tissue map of RNA editing and its genetic regulation in pigs. By integrating RNA editing profiles, edQTL mapping, GWAS, and cross‐species comparisons, this work establishes RNA editing as a distinct regulatory layer linking genetic variation to complex traits, highlighting its functional and evolutionary significance.

Integrated Degradation Models in R Using iDEMO

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Software, 2012
Degradation models are widely used to assess the lifetime information for highly reliable products with quality characteristics whose degradation over time can be related to reliability.

Asymmetric Effect of Monetary and Fiscal Policy Uncertainty on the Energy Transition: Evidence from the United States

open access: yesგლობალიზაცია და ბიზნესი
This research attempts to investigate how uncertainty in fiscal policy (FPU) and monetary policy (MPU) affects the US energy transition. While previous literature took the total renewable energy consumption (REC) as an indicator for the energy transition,

Microscale Mapping of Fiber Strain and Damage in Composite Wrinkled Laminates Using Computed Tomography Assisted Wide‐Angle X‐Ray Scattering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

Study and application on the optimal quantile forecast of precipitation in an ensemble forecast system

open access: yesMeteorological Applications
Quantiles of precipitation are widely used in ensemble forecast systems. At present, the common practice is to provide precipitation amounts corresponding to different quantiles to users directly, which will make it difficult for users to extract ...
