Threshold quantile autoregressive models [PDF]
We study in this article threshold quantile autoregressive processes. In particular we propose estimation and inference of the parameters in nonlinear quantile processes when the threshold parameter defining nonlinearities is known for each quantile, and

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Asymptotic fisher information in order statistics of geometric distribution [PDF]
In this paper, the geometric distribution is considered. The means, variances, and covariances of its order statistics are derived. The Fisher information in any set of order statistics in any distribution can be represented as a sum of Fisher ...

This article studies the estimation of conditional quantiles of counts. Given the discreteness of the data, some smoothness must be artificially imposed on the problem. We show that it is possible to smooth the data in a way that allows inference to be performed using standard quantile regression techniques.

Aldosterone‐producing adenomas (APAs) develop via two distinct paths: directly from adrenal zona glomerulosa (zG) cells, or stepwise from zG cells through aldosterone‐producing micronodules (APMs) before progressing to APAs. Advanced single‐cell and spatial analyses identified distinct cell states linked to oxidative stress and cell–cell interactions ...

Using bootstrap fourier granger causality test in quantiles to re-examine Pollution Haven/Halo hypotheses in China and G3 countries [PDF]
We re-examine the Pollution Haven and Pollution Halo hypotheses (PHEH and PHALH) using a quantile-based Bootstrap Fourier Granger causality test, a method adept at identifying non-linear structural breaks. Our study encompasses data from China and the G3

Generic inference on quantile and quantile effect functions for discrete outcomes [PDF]
Quantile and quantile effect functions are important tools for descriptive and inferential analysis due to their natural and intuitive interpretation. Existing inference methods for these functions do not apply to discrete random variables.

Mid‐infrared optoacoustic microscopy (MiROM) acquires lipid‐ and protein‐ associated vibrational contrast in intact fat tissue without dyes, preserving native tissue architecture. Through lateral and axial segmentation, MiROM tracks intrinsic intracellular changes during postnatal remodeling. A quantitative spatial analysis tool (Q‐SAT) maps white‐ and
