Joining Stainless Steel with a Novel Fe‐Based Amorphous Brazing Foil
steel research international, EarlyView.A newly developed flexible Fe‐based foil is to be used in the field of brazing to minimize the use of Ni in brazing alloys. The substitution of Ni will result in ecological, economic, and health benefits. Investigations of the brazing properties have shown that the newly developed Fe‐based foil can cope with a conventional Ni‐based brazing alloy.

Drawing on his work, the Goffman archives, the secondary literature, and personal experiences with him and those in his university of Chicago cohort, I reflect on some implications of his work and life, and the inseparable issues of understanding society.
