Ferrocene‐Functionalized Black Phosphorus Nanoplatform Enables Targeted and Prolonged MRI Visualization of Atherosclerotic Plaques

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Aminoferrocene is employed to modify black phosphorus, generating stable phosphorus radicals (FcP). The FcP is then functionalized with hyaluronic acid (HA) to produce the HA‐FcP radical complex, thereby developing a novel, highly efficient, sensitive, long‐lasting, and low‐heavy‐metal‐content radical contrast agent for targeted imaging of ...

An Analytical Approach to (Meta)Relational Models Theory, and its Application to Triple Bottom Line (Profit, People, Planet) -- Towards Social Relations Portfolio Management [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Investigating the optimal nature of social interactions among generic actors (e.g., people or firms), aiming to achieve specifically-agreed objectives, has been the subject of extensive academic research. Using the relational models theory - comprehensively describing all social interactions among actors as combinations of only four forms of sociality:

Chemical Pressure‐Induced FWHM Narrowing in Narrowband Green Phosphors for Laser Displays with Ultra‐High Saturation Thresholds

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Spectral tailoring is achieved in the phosphor Na0.6Rb0.4BaB9O15 (NRBBO): Eu2+ using chemical pressure. The gradual decrease of FWHM under chemical pressure of Rb+ ions. WLED based on NRBBO: 0.11Eu2+ have a color gamut of 106% NTSC. The excellent laser excitation properties of NRBBO: 0.11Eu2+ give it great potential as a green phosphor for laser ...

Weakly nonlinear analysis of the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation arising from pension savings management [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
The main purpose of this paper is to analyze solutions to a fully nonlinear parabolic equation arising from the problem of optimal portfolio construction. We show how the problem of optimal stock to bond proportion in the management of pension fund portfolio can be formulated in terms of the solution to the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation.

Stringency and dissimilarity of Maximum Residue Levels affect bilateral agri‐food trade stability

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
Abstract Food standards are rising in both prevalence and stringency. They protect consumers and may enhance demand stability but also pose compliance challenges to producers, with ambiguous effects on the stability of trade relationships. We analyze the impact of importers' Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) along with bilateral MRL dissimilarity between ...
