From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

Comparative Quantizations of (2+1)-Dimensional Gravity
We compare three approaches to the quantization of (2+1)-dimensional gravity with a negative cosmological constant: reduced phase space quantization with the York time slicing, quantization of the algebra of holonomies, and quantization of the space of ...

Deinococcus radiodurans‐derived extracellular vesicles (R1‐EVs) provide radioprotection against total‐body irradiation‐induced acute radiation syndrome in mice. R1‐EVs mitigate oxidative damage by scavenging free radicals, promoting intestinal repair, enhancing hematopoietic function, and modulating immune responses. This study highlights the potential

An overview of the quantization for mixed distributions [PDF]
The basic goal of quantization for probability distribution is to reduce the number of values, which is typically uncountable, describing a probability distribution to some finite set and thus approximation of a continuous probability distribution by a ...

Inappropriateness of the Rindler quantization
It is argued that the Rindler quantization is not a correct approach to study the effects of acceleration on quantum fields. First, the "particle"-detector approach based on the Minkowski quantization is not equivalent to the approach based on the ...

The paper discusses the role of scale anomaly in generating edge electric currents via the scale magnetic effect in scalar electrodynamics. Although the boundary electric current is much weaker than the Meissner current induced in superconducting materials, the scale anomaly can enhance conductivity near the boundary of the material.

Relativistic Quantization and Improved Equation for a Free Relativistic Particle [PDF]
Usually the only difference between relativistic quantization and standard one is that the Lagrangian of the system under consideration should be Lorentz invariant.
