Quantization Noise Shaping on Arbitrary Frame Expansions [PDF]
Quantization noise shaping is commonly used in oversampled A/D and D/A converters with uniform sampling. This paper considers quantization noise shaping for arbitrary finite frame expansions based on generalizing the view of first-order classical ...

Correlation Statistics of Spectrally Varying Quantized Noise [PDF]
I calculate the noise in the measured correlation functions and spectra of digitized, noiselike signals. In the spectral domain, the signals are drawn from a Gaussian distribution with variance that depends on frequency. Nearly all astrophysical signals have noiselike statistics of this type, many with important spectral variations.

Influence Mechanism of Quantization Error on the Key Parameters of the Whole-Angle Hemisphere Resonator Gyroscope [PDF]
The whole-angle hemispherical resonator gyroscope (WA-HRG) is critical to high-precision attitude control and navigational positioning, boasting significant deployment potential in both highly dynamic inertial navigation systems and industrial ...

Correlation properties of quantization noise [PDF]
This paper examines the correlation properties of quantization noise. The quantization noise energy is subtractive if the quantizer output levels are optimized for the probability density of the input signal (pdf optimized). This paper gives a new result that shows that a quantizer (uniform or not) which has quantizer break pointsmidway between output ...

A Novel Three-Point Modulation Technique for Fractional-N Frequency Synthesizer Applications [PDF]
This paper presents a novel three-point modulation technique for fractional-N frequency synthesizer applications. Convention modulated fractional-N frequency synthesizers suffer from quantization noise, which degrades not only the phase noise performance

Quantized Floquet Topology with Temporal Noise [PDF]
Time-periodic (Floquet) drive is a powerful method to engineer quantum phases of matter, including fundamentally non-equilibrium states that are impossible in static Hamiltonian systems. One characteristic example is the anomalous Floquet insulator, which exhibits topologically quantized chiral edge states similar to a Chern insulator, yet is amenable ...
