A stacked memristor crossbar architecture is presented that enables direct in‐memory computation of Euclidean distance through intrinsic current subtraction at a shared middle electrode. By physically encoding weights and squared weights in vertically aligned layers, the system realizes energy‐efficient self‐organizing map learning, demonstrating ...

On Optimal Zero-Delay Coding of Vector Markov Sources
Optimal zero-delay coding (quantization) of a vector-valued Markov source driven by a noise process is considered. Using a stochastic control problem formulation, the existence and structure of optimal quantization policies are studied.

A large number of MoS2 flakes were screened to obtain high‐quality flakes based on optical intensities in R, G, and B channel images. The flakes were classified from Level 1 to 6 based on optical intensities in the R, G, and B channel images. Low‐quality flake exhibited wrinkled, folded, or overlapped features, while high‐quality displayed a neat ...

Quantized Compressed Sensing for Partial Random Circulant Matrices
We provide the first analysis of a non-trivial quantization scheme for compressed sensing measurements arising from structured measurements. Specifically, our analysis studies compressed sensing matrices consisting of rows selected at random, without ...

Curvature‐Tuned Friction at Electrified Ionic Liquid Interfaces
Graphene curvature plays a key role in friction electrotunability at single‐asperity contacts lubricated by ionic liquids. A 9 nm radius yields stronger tunability than larger radii, with distinct friction coefficients at low and high loads indicating a shift in the slippage plane.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Uplink Achievable Rate for Massive MIMO with Low-Resolution ADC
In this letter, we derive an approximate analytical expression for the uplink achievable rate of a massive multi-input multi-output (MIMO) antenna system when finite precision analog-digital converters (ADCs) and the common maximal ratio combining ...

Coupling of spin‐active VB−$V_B^ - $ defects in hBN with alumina‐coated gold plasmonic nanoresonators (PNRs), integrated into a microwave‐efficient waveguide, constitutes a plasmon‐strain architecture that enhances their photoluminescence and spin contrast. This platform enables a tenfold quantum yield improvement and achieves a DC magnetic sensitivity
