Multimodal Imaging Reveals Rapid Catecholamine Uptake and Release by Neutrophils
We show that immune cells (neutrophils) synthesize, uptake, and store catecholamine neurotransmitters such as dopamine or adrenaline. They also release them in response to specific stimuli (serotonin), which we directly visualize using fluorescent nanosensors. We further demonstrate that catecholamines affect neutrophil functions (NETosis) and platelet

SPACETIME OR QUANTUM PARTICLES: THE ONTOLOGY OF QUANTUM GRAVITY? [PDF]
The domains of quantum theory and general relativity overlap in situations where quantum mechanical effects cannot be ignored. In order to deal with this overlap of theoretical domains, there has been a tendency to apply the rules of quantum field theory

Non-Adiabatic Holonomic Quantum Computation
We develop a non-adiabatic generalization of holonomic quantum computation in which high-speed universal quantum gates can be realized using non-Abelian geometric phases.

A π‐conjugated donor–acceptor PDI monomer undergoes hydrogen‐bonded self‐assembly to form a robust mesoporous framework. The ordered molecular arrangement promotes efficient intersystem crossing and charge separation, leading to simultaneous Type I and Type II reactive oxygen species generation with a high singlet oxygen quantum yield.

Quantum information to the home [PDF]
Information encoded on individual quanta will play an important role in our future lives, much as classically encoded digital information does today. Combining quantum information carried by single photons with classical signals encoded on strong laser ...

This study develops a biomimetic delivery system (M‐hEV) by fusing monocyte membranes with extracellular vesicles for targeted therapy of damaged cardiac tissue. The system homes to injured myocardium through specific molecular pathways. In a myocardial infarction model, M‐hEV effectively accumulates in the heart, reduces infarct size, alleviates ...
