A new approach to Ermakov systems and applications in quantum physics
The European Physical Journal Special Topics, 2008Milne–Pinney equation \(\ddot x=-\omega^2(t)x+ k/{x^3}\) is usually studied together with the time-dependent harmonic oscillator \(\ddot y+\omega^2(t) y=0\) and the system is called Ermakov system, and actually Pinney showed in a short paper that the general solution of the first equation can be written as a superposition of two solutions of the ...

A synthetic approach to the transfer matrix method in classical and quantum physics
European Journal of Physics, 2007The aim of this paper is to propose a synthetic approach to the transfer matrix method in classical and quantum physics. This method is an efficient tool to deal with complicated physical systems of practical importance in geometrical light or charged particle optics, classical electronics, mechanics, electromagnetics and quantum physics.

A Quantum Physics Approach for Enabling Information-Theoretic Secure Communication Channels
Quantum communication, a field of applied quantum physics, is closely tied to quantum teleportation and quantum information processing, with a primary focus on leveraging the laws of quantum mechanics to secure communication systems. An intriguing application within this field is the protection of information channels from unauthorized eavesdropping ...Ivan Cvitić, Dragan Peraković

The Dialogic Approach to Modalities in the Language of Quantum Physics
1981In this lecture I will present an approach to quantum modal logic which is based on a meta-linguistic interpretation of the modalities and which makes use of a proof-theoretical semantics. The meta-linguistic approach to modalities goes back to Carnap and has been used by several authors. It seems to be very appropriate for the present problem.

Situating Göttingen in the History of Quantum Physics: A Contextual Approach
2019Gottingen is without doubt one of the central places where quantum physics developed. Here quantum mechanics was established for the first time in the collaboration of Max Born with Werner Heisenberg and Pascual Jordan, two of his former students who had grown up to become real partners in science.
