Imbalanced Surface Charge Induced Phase Segregation in Mixed Halide Perovskites
The key factor determining the phase segregation in mixed halide perovskites (MHP) is the intrinsic imbalanced surface charges in the crystal lattice. MHP films with excellent crystallinity and surface morphology can suffer severe phase segregation.

qCLUE: a quantum clustering algorithm for multi-dimensional datasets
Clustering algorithms are at the basis of several technological applications, and are fueling the development of rapidly evolving fields such as machine learning. In the recent past, however, it has become apparent that they face challenges stemming from

Nonrecurrence and Bell-like inequalities
The general class, Λ, of Bell hidden variables is composed of two subclasses ΛR and ΛN such that ΛR⋃ΛN = Λ and ΛR∩ ΛN = {}. The class ΛN is very large and contains random variables whose domain is the continuum, the reals.

Quantum Simulators and Quantum Repeaters
It is shown that a photon from a non-maximal singlet, obtained by a controlled entanglement of two downconverted photon pairs, can be entangled with a photon from another such singlet. As a result the other photons from the singlets appear in a singlet state with an event probability arbitrary close to one.

Biomimetic Spider Silk by Crosslinking and Functionalization with Multiarm Polyethylene Glycol
Bioconjugation of recombinant mini‐spidroins with multiarm polyethylene glycol (PEG) is employed to produce artificial spider silk, which can be crosslinked and chemically functionalized while maintaining a biomimetic spinning approach. The best fibers exhibit enhanced tensile strength and/or extensibility, both contributing to an increased toughness ...

PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

Probabilistic Process Algebra to Unifying Quantum and Classical Computing in Closed Systems [PDF]
We have unified quantum and classical computing in open quantum systems called qACP which is a quantum generalization of process algebra ACP. But, an axiomatization for quantum and classical processes with an assumption of closed quantum systems is still missing. For closed quantum systems, unitary operator, quantum measurement and quantum entanglement
