Resolving Phonon Fock States in a Multimode Cavity with a Double-Slit Qubit
We resolve phonon number states in the spectrum of a superconducting qubit coupled to a multimode acoustic cavity. Crucial to this resolution is the sharp frequency dependence in the qubit-phonon interaction engineered by coupling the qubit to surface ...

Terahertz resonances in crystalline heterostructures could close a spectral gap between conventional electronics and photonics while opening new windows on non‐equilibrium lattice dynamics. Femtosecond optical screening of the depolarization field in epitaxial PbTiO3/SrTiO3 superlattices launches a collective polar mode that oscillates near 1 THz and ...

Acoustic-gravity quantum tunnelling analogy
We present a mathematical solution for the two-dimensional linear problem involving acoustic-gravity waves interacting with rectangular barriers at the bottom of a channel containing a slightly compressible fluid. Our analysis reveals that, below a certain cutoff frequency, the presence of a barrier inhibits the propagation of acoustic-gravity modes ...

This review surveys nanoparticle‐based strategies to enhance adoptive cell therapy, particularly CAR‐T cell approaches, in solid tumor treatment. It describes how nanoparticles can improve tumor immunogenicity and T‐cell infiltration while reducing toxicity, and how they enable in vivo CAR‐T cell generation.

Contribution of Prof. I. Malecki to the Polish School of Acoustics
A detailed study of the history of the Polish acoustics does not exist. The easiest way to present such a history might consist in describing the activity of separate teams, gathered around several leading personalities.

A phase-controlled ultralow-threshold phonon laser is proposed by using tunable optical amplifiers in coupled-cavity-optomechanical system. The multiplicative behavior of the individual enhancements, by engineering the phases and strengths of external ...

This study achieves anisotropic thermal expansion tuning in Nd2(Co1‐xFex)17‐yCry compounds via a magnetoelastic strategy. Variable‐temperature synchrotron X‐ray diffraction reveals that increased Fe content induces switchable lattice responses. Compositional control reduces the volume expansion coefficient αV by 20% (x═0.7) and modulates TC (442–625 K),
