The one-dimensional two-species quantum hydrodynamic model is considered in the limit of small mass ratio of the charge carriers. Closure is obtained by adopting an equation of state pertaining to a zero-temperature Fermi gas for the electrons and by disregarding pressure effects for the ions.

Microwave Quantum Acoustic Processor
2019 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS), 2019We propose an architecture for microwave quantum information processing based on high-Q microwave mechanical resonators coupled to a superconducting qubit. Detailed calculations of the error budget show that there is a trade-off between cross-talk and amplitude damping that leads to an optimal value of g on the order of 10 MHz.

Quantum positron acoustic waves
Physics of Plasmas, 2014Nonlinear quantum positron-acoustic (QPA) waves are investigated for the first time, within the theoretical framework of the quantum hydrodynamic model. In the small but finite amplitude limit, both deformed Korteweg-de Vries and generalized Korteweg-de Vries equations governing, respectively, the dynamics of QPA solitary waves and double-layers are ...
