Fast‐Responding O2 Gas Sensor Based on Luminescent Europium Metal‐Organic Frameworks (MOF‐76)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Luminescent MOF‐76 materials based on Eu(III) and mixed Eu(III)/Y(III) show rapid and reversible changes in emission intensity in response to O2 with very short response times. The effect is based on triplet quenching of the linker ligands that act as photosensitizers. Average emission lifetimes of a few milliseconds turn out to be mostly unaffected by

The homotopy analysis method for q-difference equations

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2018
The q-difference equations are kind of important problems in q-calculus and applied mathematics. In this paper, the homotopy analysis method is extended to find approximate solution for some of q-differential equations.

Braided Hopf Algebras and Differential Calculus

open access: yes, 1994
We show that the algebra of the bicovariant differential calculus on a quantum group can be understood as a projection of the cross product between a braided Hopf algebra and the quantum double of the quantum group.

Tauberian Theorems In Quantum Calculus

open access: yesJournal of Nonlinear Mathematical Physics, 2007
A \(q\)-integral \(\int_0^\infty a(t)\,d_qt\) is called summable (A) to the value \(S\) if the \(q\)-Laplace integral \(f(x)=\int_0^\infty e_q^{-xt} a(t)\,d_qt\) converges for every \(x>0\) and \(\lim_{x\rightarrow 0^+} f(x)=S\). The authors study summability of \(q\)-integrals and prove some related Tauberian theorems.

Quantum and braided ZX calculus*

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2022
Abstract We apply quantum group methods to quantum computing, starting with the notion of interacting Frobenius Hopf algebras for ZX calculus with noncommutative algebra and noncocommutative coalgebra. We introduce the notion of *-structures in ZX calculus at this algebraic level and construct examples based on the quantum group u

Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.

Linear-algebraic lambda-calculus

open access: yes, 2005
With a view towards models of quantum computation and/or the interpretation of linear logic, we define a functional language where all functions are linear operators by construction.
