Can non-private channels transmit quantum information?
We study the power of quantum channels with little or no capacity for private communication. Because privacy is a necessary condition for quantum communication, one might expect that such channels would be of little use for transmitting quantum states ...

A lack of standard approaches for testing and reporting the performance of metal halide perovskites and organic semiconductor radiation detectors has resulted in inconsistent interpretation of performance parameters, impeding progress in the field. This Perspective recommends key metrics and experimental details, which are suggested for reporting in ...

Carbon Nanotube 3D Integrated Circuits: From Design to Applications
As Moore's law approaches its physical limits, carbon nanotube (CNT) 3D integrated circuits (ICs) emerge as a promising alternative due to the miniaturization, high mobility, and low power consumption. CNT 3D ICs in optoelectronics, memory, and monolithic ICs are reviewed while addressing challenges in fabrication, design, and integration.

Average capacity of quantum entanglement
Abstract As an alternative to entanglement entropies, the capacity of entanglement becomes a promising candidate to probe and estimate the degree of entanglement of quantum bipartite systems. In this work, we study the statistical behavior of entanglement capacity over major models of random states.

Symmetry‐broken plasmonic nanoantenna arrays achieve broadband multiresonant enhancement of second harmonic generation (SHG), third harmonic generation (THG), and upconversion photoluminescence (UCPL), under femtosecond laser excitation across the near‐infrared range (1000–1600 nm).

Activation of zero-error classical capacity in low-dimensional quantum systems
Channel capacities of quantum channels can be nonadditive even if one of two quantum channels has no channel capacity. We call this phenomenon \emph{activation} of the channel capacity. In this paper, we show that when we use a quantum channel on a qubit

EuSc₂Te₄, an antiferromagnetic semiconductor, exhibits a nonlinear Hall effect (NLHE) characterized by quadratic current–voltage behavior. Combined experimental and theoretical studies reveal that this NLHE is linked to its antiferromagnetism and involves contributions from the quantum metric.

This study demonstrates the use of a low‐cost 3D printing technique to prepare a large‐area PVDF‐FAPbI3 composite dielectric film for flexible TENG application. The δ→α phase transformation of the FAPbI3 nanofillers has significantly improved the β‐phase content, morphology, and dielectric properties of the PVDF film.
