Irreducible decompositions and stationary states of quantum channels

open access: yes, 2015
For a quantum channel (completely positive, trace-preserving map), we prove a generalization to the infinite dimensional case of a result by Baumgartner and Narnhofer.

Energy-Constrained LOCC-Assisted Quantum Capacity of the Bosonic Dephasing Channel

open access: yesEntropy, 2023
We study the LOCC-assisted quantum capacity of a bosonic dephasing channel with energy constraint on the input states. We start our analysis by focusing on the energy-constrained squashed entanglement of the channel, which is an upper bound for the ...

Coherence generating power of unitary transformations via probabilistic average

open access: yes, 2018
We study the ability of a quantum channel to generate quantum coherence when it applies to incoherent states. Based on probabilistic averages, we define a measure of such coherence generating power (CGP) for a generic quantum channel, based on the ...

NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Effects of quantum noises on χ state-based quantum steganography protocol

open access: yesMathematical Biosciences and Engineering, 2019
Since the good application of quantum mechanism in the field of communication, quantum secure communication has become a research hotspot. The existing quantum secure communication protocols usually assume that the quantum channel is noise-free.

Idler-free multi-channel discrimination via multipartite probe states

open access: yesnpj Quantum Information, 2021
The characterisation of Quantum Channel Discrimination (QCD) offers critical insight for future quantum technologies in quantum metrology, sensing and communications. The task of multi-channel discrimination creates a scenario in which the discrimination
