Quantum Memristors with Superconducting Circuits [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
AbstractMemristors are resistive elements retaining information of their past dynamics. They have garnered substantial interest due to their potential for representing a paradigm change in electronics, information processing and unconventional computing.

Quantum correlation of microwave two-mode squeezed state generated by nonlinearity of InP HEMT

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
This study significantly concentrates on cryogenic InP HEMT high-frequency circuit analysis using quantum theory to find how the transistor nonlinearity can affect the quantum correlation of the modes generated.

Evaluation of a physically defined silicon quantum dot for design of matching circuit for RF reflectometry charge sensing

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2023
This paper reports on the extraction of the equivalent circuit model parameters of a physically defined silicon quantum dot at a cryogenic temperature and design of the impedance matching circuits to improve the performance of a charge sensor for radio ...

Improved Low-Depth SHA3 Quantum Circuit for Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computers

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
To build a secure cryptography system in the post-quantum era, one must find the minimum security parameters against quantum attacks by estimating the quantum resources of a fault-tolerant quantum computer.

64-qubit quantum circuit simulation [PDF]

open access: yesScience Bulletin, 2018
Classical simulations of quantum circuits are limited in both space and time when the qubit count is above 50, the realm where quantum supremacy reigns. However, recently, for the low depth circuit with more than 50 qubits, there are several methods of simulation proposed by teams at Google and IBM.

Optimization schemes for unitary tensor-network circuit

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2021
An efficient representation of a quantum circuit is of great importance in achieving a quantum advantage on current noisy intermediate scale quantum (NISQ) devices and the classical simulation of quantum many-body systems.

Coulomb Drag in Quantum Circuits [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2008
We study drag effect in a system of two electrically isolated quantum point contacts (QPC), coupled by Coulomb interactions. Drag current exhibits maxima as a function of QPC gate voltages when the latter are tuned to the transitions between quantized conductance plateaus.

Variational quantum circuits for quantum state tomography [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2020
Quantum state tomography is a key process in most quantum experiments. In this work, we employ quantum machine learning for state tomography. Given an unknown quantum state, it can be learned by maximizing the fidelity between the output of a variational quantum circuit and this state.

Strong hole-photon coupling in planar Ge for probing charge degree and strongly correlated states

open access: yesNature Communications
Semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) in planar germanium (Ge) heterostructures have emerged as front-runners for future hole-based quantum processors. Here, we present strong coupling between a hole charge qubit, defined in a double quantum dot (DQD) in ...
