Vacuum‐based deposition is promising for perovskite solar cells to be successfully commercialized. However, co‐evaporation, the most common vapor phase deposition technique, suffers from very low deposition rates. In this work, we reveal that high deposition rates can lead to carbon flakes depositing into the perovskite absorber layers due to material ...

Codes for entanglement-assisted classical communication
Entanglement-assisted classical communication (EACC) aims to enhance communication systems using entanglement as an additional resource. However, there is a scarcity of explicit protocols designed for finite transmission scenarios, which presents a ...

Multiple Twinning in Nacre and Aragonite
Electron backscatter diffraction map of a cluster of geologic aragonite, exhibiting single, double, and triple twins. The whole cluster is approximately 2 cm wide. Colors indicate crystal orientations, so that pixels where the a‐, b‐, and c‐axis is perpendicular to the image plane are green, red, and blue, respectively.

Higher-order topological superconductors as generators of quantum codes
We show that interactions can drive a class of higher order topological superconductors (HOTSCs) into symmetry-enriched topologically ordered phases exemplified by topological quantum error correcting codes. In two dimensions, interacting HOTSCs realize various topologically ordered surface and color codes.

A FeN4─O/Clu@NC‐0.1Ac catalyst containing atomically‐dispersed FeN4─O sites (medium‐spin Fe2+) and Fe clusters delivered a half‐wave potential of 0.89 V for ORR and an overpotential of 330 mV at 10 mA cm−2 for OER in 0.1 m KOH. When the catalyst was used in a rechargeable Zn–air battery, a power density of 284.5 mW cm−2 was achieved with excellent ...

Deterministic Generation of Concatenated Graph Codes from Quantum Emitters [PDF]
Photon loss is the dominant noise mechanism in photonic quantum technologies. Designing fault-tolerant schemes with high tolerance to loss is thus a central challenge in scaling photonic quantum information processors. Concatenation of a fault-tolerant construction with a code able to efficiently correct loss is a promising approach to achieve this but

In situ monitoring of bulk photoalignment reveals how molecular weight, azobenzene content, cooling rate, and thickness govern ordering in main‐chain liquid crystalline polymers. Optimized copolymers exceed conventional thickness limits, maintaining stable alignment up to 130 µm with high energy efficiency and reversible optical patterning.

Lead halide perovskite nanocrystals are promising scintillators but suffer from reabsorption losses and limited compatibility with high‐Z additives. Hybridization of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals with PbBr2‐passivated HfO2 nanoparticle sensitizers, achieved during or after synthesis, produces stable composites with maintained optical quality, improved ...
