Generate Seed Generators for Quantum Stabilizer Codes
2009 WRI World Congress on Computer Science and Information Engineering, 2009Stabilizer is a very important description method of quantum error-correcting code. Before to generate quantum codes based on the stabilizer it needs to generate seed generator. The problem of finding seed generators is transformed into the problems of determining linear independence or linear dependence of vectors and finding the solutions of ...

Construction of quantum MDS codes from generalized Reed–Solomon codes
International Journal of Quantum Information, 2023Quantum maximum-distance-separable (MDS) codes play an important role in the quantum codes. The previous quantum MDS codes had been constructed according to [Formula: see text] is odd or even. However, such classification omits to consider some special categories of quantum MDS codes.

Quantum computation with generalized dislocation codes
Physical Review A, 2020In this paper, we study quantum computing with twists. Twists are yet another form of defects in a lattice. They arise from dislocations in the lattice and can be used to encode and process quantum information. Surface codes with twists are also called dislocation codes.

Hulls of Generalized Reed-Solomon Codes via Goppa Codes and Their Applications to Quantum Codes
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2021A Goppa code over $\Bbb F_{q^{m}}$ is a well-known subclass of algebraic error-correcting code. If $m=1$ , then it is a generalized Reed-Solomon(GRS) code and its dual code is called a GRS code via a Goppa code. In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition that the dual codes of GRS codes via (expurgated) Goppa codes are also ...

Asymmetric quantum generalized Reed-Solomon codes
2011 IEEE Information Theory Workshop, 2011New asymmetric quantum generalized Reed-Solomon (RS) codes with parameters [[N = mn, K = m(2k — n + c), d z ≥ d/d x ≥ [d — c)]] q , where q is a prime power, l c+1, c ≥ 1, m ≥ 1 are integers, are constructed in this paper. These new codes can be utilized in quantum channels having great asymmetry.

Quantum Convolutional Codes Derived from Generalized Reed-Solomon Codes
2007 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2007Convolutional stabilizer codes promise to make quantum communication more reliable with attractive online encoding and decoding algorithms. This paper introduces a new approach to convolutional stabilizer codes based on direct limit constructions. A quantum Singleton bound for pure convolutional stabilizer codes is given.
