Quantum Generalized Reed-Solomon codes
We construct a family of quantum error-correcting codes with parameters [[n,n-2k,k+1]]q which are defined in q-dimensional quantum systems, where q is an arbitrary prime power. These codes are optimal in the sense that the minimum distance is maximal. It is shown that codes exist for all n satisfying 2≤n≤q or q2-q+2≤n≤q2.

Coding Theorems for Quantum Channels [PDF]
The more than thirty years old issue of the (classical) information capacity of quantum communication channels was dramatically clarified during the last years, when a number of direct quantum coding theorems was discovered.

Quantum convolutional coding with shared entanglement: general structure [PDF]
We present a general theory of entanglement-assisted quantum convolutional coding. The codes have a convolutional or memory structure, they assume that the sender and receiver share noiseless entanglement prior to quantum communication, and they are not restricted to possess the Calderbank-Shor-Steane structure as in previous work.

Tight Bounds on the Simultaneous Estimation of Incompatible Parameters
The estimation of multiple parameters in quantum metrology is important for a vast array of applications in quantum information processing. However, the unattainability of fundamental precision bounds for incompatible observables greatly diminishes the ...

Experimental Implementation of a Concatenated Quantum Error-Correcting Code [PDF]
Concatenated coding provides a general strategy to achieve the desired level of noise protection in quantum information storage and transmission. We report the implementation of a concatenated quantum error-correcting code able to correct against phase ...

Quantum Walks, Quantum Gates and Quantum Computers [PDF]
The physics of quantum walks on graphs is formulated in Hamiltonian language, both for simple quantum walks and for composite walks, where extra discrete degrees of freedom live at each node of the graph.

Quantum soundness of testing tensor codes
Quantum soundness of testing tensor codes, Discrete Analysis 2022:17, 73 pp. This paper proves an essential component of a major recent result in complexity theory, known as the MIP*=RE theorem, which was proved by the same authors.

Quantum generalized Reed-Solomon codes: Unified framework for quantum maximum-distance-separable codes [PDF]
We construct a family of quantum maximum-distance-separable (MDS) codes from classical generalized Reed-Solomon codes and derive the necessary and sufficient condition under which these quantum codes exist. We also give code bounds and show how to construct them analytically.
