We study the dynamics of Gaussian quantum coherence under the background of a Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger dilaton black hole. It is shown that the dilaton field has evident effects on the degree of coherence for all the bipartite subsystems.

The Tightness of Multipartite Coherence from Spectrum Estimation
Detecting multipartite quantum coherence usually requires quantum state reconstruction, which is quite inefficient for large-scale quantum systems.

Quantum coherence, coherent information and information gain in quantum measurement [PDF]
A measurement is deemed successful, if one can maximize the information gain by the measurement apparatus. Here, we ask if quantum coherence of the system imposes a limitation on the information gain during quantum measurement. First, we argue that the information gain in a quantum measurement is nothing but the coherent information or the distinct ...

Entanglement polygon inequality in qubit systems
We prove a set of tight entanglement inequalities for arbitrary N -qubit pure states. By focusing on all bi-partite marginal entanglements between each single qubit and its remaining partners, we show that the inequalities provide an upper bound for each

Assisted Distillation of Quantum Coherence [PDF]
We introduce and study the task of assisted coherence distillation. This task arises naturally in bipartite systems where both parties work together to generate the maximal possible coherence on one of the subsystems. Only incoherent operations are allowed on the target system while general local quantum operations are permitted on the other, an ...

Room-temperature valley coherence in a polaritonic system
Owing to the presence of strongly bound excitons and degenerate valleys, monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides show promise for valleytronic applications.

Evolution of quantum resources in quantum-walk-based search algorithm
Quantum walk is fundamental to designing many quantum algorithms. Here we consider the effects of quantum coherence and quantum entanglement for the quantum walk search on the complete bipartite graph.

Some Remarks on Quantum Coherence
There are many striking phenomena which are attributed to ``quantum coherence''. It is natural to wonder if there are new quantum coherence effects waiting to be discovered which could lead to interesting results and perhaps even practical applications.
