3D Printed Magnetic Origami Scaffolds for Guided Tissue Assembly

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
3D‐printed magnetic origami scaffolds enhance 3D coculture by directing cell proliferation pre‐folding, restricting expansion for controlled growth within the channel, and spatially and temporally promoting 3D multicellular dissemination post‐folding.

Advancement in Colloidal Metasurfaces: Approaches for Scalable Photonic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This perspective explores colloidal metasurfaces composed of plasmonic and emitting nanoparticles assembled by laser interference lithography and template‐assisted self‐assembly methods. Precise design strategies achieve directional emission, low‐threshold lasing, and tunable photonic bandgaps.

Quantum networks using counterfactual quantum communication [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Counterfactual quantum communication is one of the most interesting facets of quantum communication, allowing two parties to communicate without any transmission of quantum or classical particles between the parties involved in the communication process.

Wafer‐Scale Synthesis of Topological Insulator Sb2Te3 Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates how the topologically protected conduction in Sb2Te3 thin films can be extended from few‐mm2 samples’ area up to larger areas of several cm2 Si(111) wafers. The reported findings represent a breakthrough for the future technology scale‐up of topological insulators for applications such as spintronics, thermoelectrics, and quantum

Learning and Controlling Silicon Dopant Transitions in Graphene Using Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Atomic transition rates for manipulating single silicon atoms in graphene with an electron beam in the scanning transmission electron microscope are experimentally extracted. Automated experiments and deep learning methods provide a means to probe and collect vast amounts of data to determine transition probabilities as a function of beam coordinate. A
