Motion artifacts in electrocardiographic signals, conventionally dismissed as noise, are shown to encode discriminative activity information. A smart t‐shirt fusing textile strain sensors with textile ECG electrodes, processed through a complex‐valued residual network, recognizes 12 sport activities.

Regeneration of spin wave in moving atoms
In a study of amplifying atomic spin waves, we observe a nontrivial phenomenon: The spin wave stored in moving atoms has a capability of absorbing energy from an external light source, and exhibits a regeneration process.

Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution Based on N-APSK Modulation over Seawater Channel
A continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CVQKD) can be realized over the seawater channel, but the transmission of quantum signals in seawater media exhibits significant attenuation effects.

Generation of arbitrary all-photonic graph states from quantum emitters
We present protocols to generate arbitrary photonic graph states from quantum emitters that are in principle deterministic. We focus primarily on two-dimensional cluster states of arbitrary size due to their importance for measurement-based quantum ...

Environmentally Symbiotic Plant Robot
An environmentally symbiotic plant robot is presented that externalizes its drive system to plants and soil. By converting germination and growth forces into locomotion, the robot sustains a closed cycle of seeding, germination, growth, and reseeding, autonomously traveling on soil for 30 days using only environmental resources while distributing seeds

Crosstalk-resilient quantum MIMO for scalable quantum communications
We address the challenge of crosstalk in quantum multiplexing–an obstacle to scaling throughput in quantum communication networks. Crosstalk arises when physically coupled quantum modes interfere, degrading signal fidelity.
