Nanofabrication of Topological Surface Relief Structures in Azopolymers With Tightly Focused Optical Skyrmions

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 21, 12 November 2026.
We demonstrate the nanofabrication of topological surface relief structures (surface reliefs with a shape like a Möbius strip) in azopolymers using longitudinal electric fields and nano‐scale circular polarization defects (C‐point polarization defect) created by tightly focused optical skyrmions.

Full‐Space Terahertz Airy Beam Shaping via Composite Bilayer Metasurface With Switchable Amplitude–Phase Encoding Channels

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 21, 12 November 2026.
A composite bilayer metasurface integrates linear‐polarization amplitude–phase modulation with circular‐polarization Pancharatnam–Berry phase modulation, enabling multidimensional terahertz Airy beam manipulation within a single compact aperture. The highly integrated platform supports diverse Airy beam generation and offers new opportunities for ...

On‐Chip Colloidal Quantum Dot Photodetectors With a Complementary Metal–Oxide–Semiconductor‐Compatible Architecture for Near‐Infrared Light Sensing and Electrical Signal Amplification

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2026.
A CMOS‐compatible near‐infrared photodetector integrates a PbS colloidal quantum dot photodiode with a silicon bipolar junction transistor for on‐chip optical sensing and electrical signal amplification. The photovoltage generated by the photodiode directly drives the transistor, enabling a current gain of approximately 11.4 without external ...

Integrated Multispectroscopic Identification of Organophosphorus and Triazine Pesticide Mixtures via DFT–Spectroscopy‐Integrated Identification Method (D‐SIIM)

open access: yesAnalysis &Sensing, Volume 6, Issue 6, November 2026.
Identifying unknown chemicals in mixtures is limited by the reference libraries available. D‐SIIM instead cross‐validates experimental IR, Raman, and NMR spectra against DFT predictions, resolving all components of pesticide mixtures containing up to four multiring organophosphorus and triazine compounds including one for which GC–MS screening proved ...
