Universality in quantum parametric correlations [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 1999
We investigate the universality of correlation functions of chaotic and disordered quantum systems as an external parameter is varied. A new, general scaling procedure is introduced which makes the theory invariant under reparametrizations. Under certain general conditions we show that this procedure is unique.

ErMn6Sn6: A Promising Kagome Antiferromagnetic Candidate for Room‐Temperature Nernst Effect‐Based Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work investigates the Nernst effect in the Kagome magnet ErMn6Sn6 which exhibits both topological and anomalous Nernst effects with the anomalous Nernst coefficient reaching 1.71 µV K⁻¹ at 300 K. This value surpasses that of most canted antiferromagnetic materials, making ErMn6Sn6 a promising candidate for advancing thermoelectric devices based on

Quasiprobabilities for Multipartite Quantum Correlations of Light

open access: yes, 2013
Regular quasiprobabilities are introduced for the aim of characterizing quantum correlations of multimode radiation fields. Negativities of these quantum-correlation quasiprobabilities are necessary and sufficient for any quantum correlation encoded in ...

Ultra‐Fast Non‐Volatile Resistive Switching Devices with Over 512 Distinct and Stable Levels for Memory and Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A materials and device design concept that comprises a self‐assembled ultra‐thin epitaxial ion‐transporting layer, an amorphous oxide overcoat oxygen‐blocking layer, and a partial filament formed during an electroforming step is proposed for low‐current multilevel resistive switching devices.

Quantum backgrounds and QFT

open access: yes, 2009
We introduce the concept of a quantum background and a functor QFT. In the case that the QFT moduli space is smooth formal, we construct a flat quantum superconnection on a bundle over QFT which defines algebraic structures relevant to correlation ...

Off‐Stoichiometry Engineering of the Electrical and Optical Properties of SrNbO3 Using Oxide Molecular Beam Epitaxy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The plasma edge of transparent conducting oxide SrNbO3 shifts from ∼2 eV in the visible range to 1.37 eV in the near‐infrared region by off‐stoichiometry using the vacancy sites as quasi‐substitutional virtual elements. This work advances the stoichiometry engineering of perovskite oxides using oxide molecular beam epitaxy, allowing synthesis beyond ...

Quantum histories and correlations in quantum measurements

open access: yesQuantum Information Processing, 2018
In this paper, the measurement process is described as an interaction between two quantum systems: the system to be measured and the measuring instrument. The time evolution is determined only by the Schrodinger equation, i.e., there is no collapse postulate.

Measures and applications of quantum correlations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2016
Quantum information theory is built upon the realisation that quantum resources like coherence and entanglement can be exploited for novel or enhanced ways of transmitting and manipulating information, such as quantum cryptography, teleportation, and quantum computing.

Making Photoresponsive Metal–Organic Frameworks an Effective Class of Heterogeneous Photocatalyst

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes photoresponsive MOFs for photocatalytic applications, focusing on their capacity to enhance light harvesting, charge transfer, and surface reactions. While existing studies provide foundational insights, emerging characterization techniques enable a deeper understanding of photoresponsive MOFs.
