Metal‐tetracene dimeric complexes are synthesized through the pyridyl coordination to either Pt(II) or Pd(II). Photophysical properties are systematically compared as a function of the metal using steady‐state and time‐resolved spectroscopy. The Pt(II) dimer exhibits efficient intramolecular singlet fission and subsequent intramolecular up‐conversion ...

Relating correlation measures: the importance of the energy gap
The concept of correlation is central to all approaches that attempt the description of many-body effects in electronic systems. Multipartite correlation is a quantum information theoretical property that is attributed to quantum states independent of ...

This study uncovers a new switching mechanism in HfO2 and ZrO2, where the absence of a non‐polar layer along the a‐direction induces interaction between polar layers. Consequently, the switching barriers for growth are lower than those for nucleation in this direction, leading to a size‐dependent coercive field that matches experimental observations ...

Steered coherence of a central two-qubit system coupled to an XY spin chain
We investigate the average steered coherence (ASC) of a central two-qubit system coupled to an XY spin-chain environment. It is shown that there exists subspace in which the initial states are immune to this environment.

Infinite Correlation in Measured Quantum Processes [PDF]
We show that quantum dynamical systems can exhibit infinite correlations in their behavior when repeatedly measured. We model quantum processes using quantum finite-state generators and take the stochastic language they generate as a representation of ...

Quantum histories and correlations in quantum measurements
In this paper, the measurement process is described as an interaction between two quantum systems: the system to be measured and the measuring instrument. The time evolution is determined only by the Schrodinger equation, i.e., there is no collapse postulate.

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.
