Maximal mutual correlation: an algebraic measure of correlations in bipartite quantum systems [PDF]
We introduce an algebraic measure of correlations in bipartite quantum systems. The proposed quantity, called maximal mutual correlation, provides the information how much a given state differs from the product state of its marginals. In contrast to the entanglement or quantum discord, maximal mutual correlation can be non - zero for some classically ...

This work investigates the Nernst effect in the Kagome magnet ErMn6Sn6 which exhibits both topological and anomalous Nernst effects with the anomalous Nernst coefficient reaching 1.71 µV K⁻¹ at 300 K. This value surpasses that of most canted antiferromagnetic materials, making ErMn6Sn6 a promising candidate for advancing thermoelectric devices based on

Quantum discord and its geometric measure with death entanglement in correlated dephasing two qubits system [PDF]
The quantum correlations, including entanglement and discord with its geometric measure, and classical correlation are studied for a bipartite partition of a open or closed quantum system. It is found that the purity of the initial state plays an important role in the dynamics of quantum and classical correlations.

A materials and device design concept that comprises a self‐assembled ultra‐thin epitaxial ion‐transporting layer, an amorphous oxide overcoat oxygen‐blocking layer, and a partial filament formed during an electroforming step is proposed for low‐current multilevel resistive switching devices.

We investigate a scenario where quantum correlations affect the gravitational field. We show that quantum correlations between particles occupying different positions have an effect on the gravitational field. We find that the small perturbations induced

Quantum speed limit time for correlated quantum channel [PDF]
Memory effects play a fundamental role in the dynamics of open quantum systems. There exist two different views on memory for quantum noises. In the first view, the quantum channel has memory when there exist correlations between successive uses of the channels on a sequence of quantum systems.

Wetting of Surface Grafted Hydrophilic‐b‐Hydrophobic Block Copolymer Brushes
The wetting properties of surface grafted diblock copolymer brushes are influenced by the thickness of the hydrophilic bottom block and the hydrophobic top block. The surface adapts in presence of water and the contact angles of the bottom block shine through. Abstract The wetting of diblock copolymer brushes by water is studied.

Quantum Discord for Investigating Quantum Correlations without Entanglement in Solids [PDF]
Quantum systems unfold diversified correlations which have no classical counterparts. These quantum correlations have various different facets. Quantum entanglement, as the most well known measure of quantum correlations, plays essential roles in quantum information processing.

Topological pumping of quantum correlations
Topological pumping and duality transformations are paradigmatic concepts in condensed matter and statistical mechanics. In this paper, we extend the concept of topological pumping of particles to topological pumping of quantum correlations. We propose a
