Daemonic ergotropy: enhanced work extraction from quantum correlations
Quantum thermodynamics: Quantum correlations are key for work extraction! A strong connection exists between the ability of a quantum system to perform thermodynamic work and the amount of quantum correlations that are set in its physical configuration ...

An asymmetric non‐fullerene acceptor BTP‐FT is developed by extending the end group of Y6‐BO with thiophene. The conformation of the molecule is determined by the noncovalent F···S interaction as demonstrated by 2D NMR and simulations. An efficiency of 18.39% is achieved in the resulting ternary solar cells processed from toluene.

A multifunctional hydroxyapatite (HAp) coating integrated with silver‐gallium liquid metal nanoparticles (HAp‐Ag‐GaNPs) exhibits dual antibacterial and osteogenic properties. It effectively inhibits Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria, including resistant strains, while enhancing bone regeneration.

Infinite Correlation in Measured Quantum Processes [PDF]
We show that quantum dynamical systems can exhibit infinite correlations in their behavior when repeatedly measured. We model quantum processes using quantum finite-state generators and take the stochastic language they generate as a representation of their behavior. We analyze two spin-1 quantum systems that differ only in how they are observed.

This study examines the surface characteristics of AlInP (001), crucial for advanced solar cells and photoelectrochemical devices. Using theoretical modeling and experiments, it identifies how phosphorus‐rich and indium‐rich surfaces create mid‐gap states that pin the Fermi level and influence ultrafast electron dynamics.
