Principles of a cosmological model based on the electromagnetic quantum vacuum. Space is infinite and eternal composed of the quantum vacuum field, which is at the origin of finite “universe” of ordinary matter or antimatter, generated from the quantum vacuum and vanishing back to the vacuum state following a process of creation-annihilation mechanism.

Prediction in Quantum Cosmology [PDF]
Lectures by the author at the 1986 Cargese summer school modestly corrected and uploaded for greater accessibility. Some of the author's views on the quantum mechanics of cosmology have changed from those presented here but may still be of historical interest.

An introduction to quantum cosmology
60 pages, harvmac, 11 figures, epsf. These summer school lecture notes have been available for 5 years; but are being placed on the archive to make them more easily accessible. Published in "Cosmology: the Physics of the Universe", eds B. Robson, N. Visvanathan and W.S.
