Entanglement in prepare-and-measure scenarios: many questions, a few answers

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2022
Entanglement and quantum communication are paradigmatic resources in quantum information science leading to correlations between systems that have no classical analogue.

Device-independent characterization of entanglement based on bell nonlocality

open access: yesFundamental Research, 2021
Quantum entanglement, has been acknowledged as a precious resource due to its inherent nonclassical correlations between subsystems. These quantum correlations have the potential for many quantum processes, including canonical ones: quantum cryptography,

Quantum Secure Direct Communication Based on Dense Coding and Detecting Eavesdropping with Four-Particle Genuine Entangled State

open access: yesEntropy, 2015
A novel quantum secure direct communication protocol based on four-particle genuine entangled state and quantum dense coding is proposed. In this protocol, the four-particle genuine entangled state is used to detect eavesdroppers, and quantum dense ...

Dense Coding Based on Quantum Entanglement

open access: yesJournal of Modern Optics, 1995
We analyse the Bennett-Wiesner dense quantum coding scheme for non-maximally entangled carriers of information. Our generalization shows that the detection scheme proposed by Bennett and Wiesner is optimal even when the entanglement is not perfect. We comment on the optical realization of the scheme.

Metasurface for complete measurement of polarization Bell state

open access: yesNanophotonics, 2022
Bell state measurement is vital to quantum information technology. Conventional linear optical elements, however, cannot fully distinguish all polarization Bell states without assisting of additional degrees of freedom.

On quantum advantage in dense coding [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2012
The quantum advantage of dense coding is studied, considering general encoding quantum operations. Particular attention is devoted to the case of many senders, and it is shown that restrictions on the possible operations on the senders' side may make some quantum state useless for dense-coding.

A fully-connected three-user quantum hyperentangled network

open access: yesQuantum Frontiers, 2023
Exploiting the fantastic features of quantum mechanics, a hyperentangled quantum network encoded in multiple degree of freedoms (DOF), e.g., polarization and orbital angular momentum DOFs, can encode more qubits per transmitted photon and offers a ...
