Global insights on the diagnosis, management, and prevention of pediatric ingestions: A report from the FISPGHAN expert panel

open access: yesJPGN Reports, EarlyView.
Abstract This is a comprehensive review of pediatric foreign body (FB) ingestions, emphasizing the global burden, epidemiology, and management strategies. Predominantly occurring in children under 6, with a peak between 6 months and 3 years, these incidents pose significant health risks with substantial regional variations in ingested objects—ranging ...

Can Quantum discord increase in a quantum communication task?

open access: yes, 2018
Quantum teleportation of an unknown quantum state is one of the few communication tasks which has no classical counterpart. Usually the aim of teleportation is to send an unknown quantum state to a receiver.

Theoretical Kinetics Study of the OH + CH3SH Reaction Based on an Analytical Full‐Dimensional Potential Energy Surface

open access: yesInternational Journal of Chemical Kinetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Based on a recently developed full‐dimensional analytical potential energy surface, named PES‐2024, which was fitted to high‐level ab initio calculations, three different kinetic theories were used for the computation of thermal rate constants: variational transition state theory (VTST), quasi‐classical trajectory theory (QCT) and ring polymer

Consensus recommendations for hyperpolarized [1‐13C]pyruvate MRI multi‐center human studies

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract MRI of hyperpolarized (HP) [1‐13C]pyruvate allows in vivo assessment of metabolism and has translated into human studies across diseases at 15 centers worldwide. To determine consensus on best practice for multi‐center studies for development of clinical applications.

Quantum Processes Which Do Not Use Coherence

open access: yesPhysical Review X, 2016
A major signature of quantum mechanics beyond classical physics is coherence, the existence of superposition states. The recently developed resource theory of quantum coherence allows the formalization of incoherent operations—those operations which ...

Unraveling Non‐Cubic Atomic Ordering in Surfactant‐Free AuAg Decahedral Nanoparticles by Pair Distribution Function (PDF) Analysis

open access: yesParticle &Particle Systems Characterization, EarlyView.
The atomic arrangement of few‐nm‐wide surfactant‐free noble metal (AuAg) decahedral nanoparticles is characterized using a structural refinement based on Pair Distribution Function (PDF) derived from Precession Electron Diffraction (PED). The results indicate that the measured structure is not well described by the classical Bagley body‐centered ...

Quantum correlations in optomechanical system in the presence of optical feedback

open access: yesPhysics Open, 2022
In this paper, we investigate the dynamics of quantum correlations for the continuous-variable bipartite optomechanical system in the presence of homodyne mediated quantum feedback.

A Critical Review of Limitations and Challenges in Advancement of HNF as a Green Oxidizer for Composite Solid Propellant Formulations

open access: yesPropellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics, Volume 50, Issue 7, Page 11-30, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Hydrazinium nitroformate (HNF) is a chlorine‐free, high‐energy oxidizer with promising applications in green propulsion systems. This review examines the thermal decomposition, combustion kinetics, flame structure, and behavior of HNF, while critically evaluating the current body of literature.

Intrinsic Magnetism and Field‐Driven Spin Alignment in NiI2 Revealed by X‐ray Magnetic Spectroscopy

open access: yesphysica status solidi (RRL) – Rapid Research Letters, EarlyView.
The 2D van der Waals multiferroic NiI2 exhibits type‐II multiferroicity down to the monolayer limit, but its spin alignment mechanism has remained unclear. Arnold et al. made a major step in this direction by using X‐ray magnetic spectroscopy to reveal field‐driven spin alignment from a strongly covalent Ni 3d ground state.
