The Intricate Mechanism of Nitric Oxide Synthase
The mechanism for NO formation by Nitric Oxide Synthase (NOS) has been studied using accurate DFT methods. A long‐range electron transfer from the cofactor H4B leads to formation of H2O2. ABSTRACT The biological formation of NO is performed by nitric oxide synthase.

Abstract The exponential growth of scientific literature—over 2.5 million papers and 3.5 million patents annually—poses critical challenges for knowledge discovery. To address these, we propose SCIMKG (Scientific Knowledge Graph), a framework for constructing scientific knowledge graphs via multi‐source heterogeneous multi‐source.

DOT1L as a central epigenetic regulator of EndoMT and pulmonary fibrosis. Acting as an early epigenetic switch, it translates TGFβ–SMAD signaling into H3K79me2‐mediated chromatin remodeling, selectively activates fibrosis‐related genes, and primes ECs for rapid mesenchymal transition.

Concerted Proton and Electron Transfer in Heterogeneous Electrocatalytic CO2 Reduction
Concerted proton‐electron transfer (CPET) enables CO2‐to‐CO conversion with significantly reduced energy cost compared to cation‐stabilized pathways. Under controlled mass transport of proton donors, CPET dominates at modest potentials. At higher overpotentials, a cation‐stabilized pathway is found to dominate.

This review surveys eukaryotic cilia as putative quantum‐enabled sensory and regulatory centers. It highlights their multifaceted roles in the cell, focuses on the nontrivial roles of quantum mechanics in their membrane and cytoskeletal proteins, and introduces the essential building blocks enabling quantum properties to survive in the warm, wet, and ...
