Generalizations of quantum discord [PDF]
The original definition of quantum discord of bipartite states was defined over projective measurements, in this paper we discuss some generalizations of it. These generalizations are defined over general measurements, rank-one general measurements or Neumark extension measurements.

QUANTUM DISCORD, DECOHERENCE AND QUANTUM PHASE TRANSITION [PDF]
Quantum discord is a more general measure of quantum correlations than entanglement and has been proposed as a resource in certain quantum information processing tasks. The computation of discord is mostly confined to two-qubit systems for which an analytical calculational scheme is available.

We propose the first correct special-purpose quantum circuits for preparation of Bell diagonal states (BDS), and implement them on the IBM Quantum computer, characterizing and testing complex aspects of their quantum correlations in the full parameter ...

Identification of Unentangled–Entangled Border in the Luttinger Liquid Phase
Quantum discord and entanglement are both criteria for distinguishing quantum correlations in a quantum system. We studied the effect of the transverse magnetic field on the quantum discord of the one-dimensional spin-1/2 XX model.

Channel discord and distortion
Discord, originally notable as a signature of bipartite quantum correlation, in fact can be nonzero classically, i.e. arising from noisy measurements by one of the two parties.

We investigate the decay properties of the quantumness including quantum entanglement, quantum discord, and quantum coherence for two photonic qubits, which are partially entangled in their orbital angular momenta, through Kolmogorov turbulent atmosphere.

A Pedagogical Overview of Quantum Discord [PDF]
Recent measures of nonclassical correlations are motivated by different notions of classicality and operational means. Quantum discord has received a great deal of attention in studies involving quantum computation, metrology, dynamics, many-body physics, and thermodynamics.

Composite Discordant States and Quantum Darwinism
The framework of Quantum Darwinism strives at characterizing the quantum-to-classical transition by introducing the concept of redundancy of information—as measured by Mutual Information—that a set of observers would acquire on the state of a physical system of interest.

Analytic Expression of Quantum Discords in Werner States under LQCC
In this paper, quantum discords in a special kind of states, i.e., Werner states by local quantum operations and classical communication (LQCC) protocols (WLQCC states), are studied.

Computing quantum discord is NP-complete
We study the computational complexity of quantum discord (a measure of quantum correlation beyond entanglement), and prove that computing quantum discord is NP-complete.
