Quantum coherence in dissipative systems
Physica B+C, 1984Abstract This paper reviews the considerable progress that has been made in the last two years in understanding some novel quantum mechanical coherence effects in superconducting interference devices. Some general aspects of quantum coherence in the presence of dissipation is also discussed.

Dissipative few-body quantum systems
2016Within the scope of this thesis, we show that a driven-dissipative system with few ultracold atoms can exhibit dissipatively bound states, even if the atom-atom interaction is purely repulsive. This bond arises due to the dipole-dipole interaction, which is restricted to one of the lower electronic energy states, resulting in the distance-dependent ...

Chaos in Dissipative Quantum Systems
1985We discuss two dissipative quantum systems, which are chaotic in the classical limit. The first system is a single-mode bad-cavity laser. It can be analyzed in the semi-classical limit where it reduces to the complex Lorenz model under the influence of classical external noise.
