ENERGY LEVEL DETERMINATION AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF QUANTUM DOT PHOTO DETECTOR [PDF]
The theoretical estimation of dark and illumination characteristics of InGaAs quantum dot photo detector is developed and presented in this paper. The exact potential and energy profile of the Quantum Dot is computed by obtaining the solution of 3D ...

Ferroelectricity in Antiferromagnetic Wurtzite Nitrides
We establish MnSiN2${\rm MnSiN}_2$ and MnGeN2${\rm MnGeN}_2$ as aristotypes of a new multiferroic wurtzite family that simultaneously exhibits ferroelectricity and antiferromagnetism with altermagnetic spin splitting. By strategically substituting alkaline‐earth metals, we predict new materials with coexisting switchable polarization, spin texture, and

Quantum dot enabled thermal imaging of optofluidic devices
Quantum dot thermal imaging has been used to analyse the chromatic dependence of laser-induced thermal effects inside optofluidic devices with monolithically integrated near-infrared waveguides. We demonstrate how microchannel optical local heating plays

Polarizable Vanadium Dipoles Promote Water Dissociation on Vanadium‐Based Metal Organic Framework
The polarization of unpaired V 3d electrons weakens the H─O bond to improve water dissociation by the dual Vδ+:O─H and Pλ−:H─O coupling hydrogen bonds formation and relaxation. P@V‐MOF electrocatalyst shows low overpotentials (94 mV in acid, 178 mV in neutral, and 77 mV in alkaline solutions) with excellent stability for effective overall water ...

PbSe quantum dots grown in a high-index low-melting-temperature glass for infrared laser applications [PDF]
PbSe quantum dots (QDs) were grown in high-refractive-index low-melting-temperature lead-phosphate glass. QDs with various sizes ranging from 2 nm to 5.3 nm were grown by controlling the growth parameters, heat-treatment temperature and time.

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Observation of cooper pair splitting and andreev bound states in carbon nanotubes [PDF]
In this thesis, we investigate Cooper pair splitting in double quantum dot devices made from carbon nanotubes. We present transport measurements in which the controlled splitting of Cooper pairs dominates the current through such a device, reaching ...

Quantum-Dot-Doped Lead Halide Perovskites for Ionizing Radiation Detection
High-performance scintillators are essential for medical imaging, security, high-energy physics, and other fields. Lead halide perovskites are attractive materials for ionizing radiation detection due to their high X-ray absorption, defect tolerance, and

We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,
