One-pot solvothermal synthesis of copper indium telluride (CuInTe2) and its X-band EMI shielding behaviour

open access: yesHybrid Advances
We present one-pot colloidal synthesis of copper indium telluride (CITe) from respective metal salts with sodium tellurite in 1-octadecene with variation in surfactant and the reaction temperature between 200 and 300 °C. Oleic acid and/or oleyl amine are

Luminescent quantum dots encapsulated by zwitterionic amphi philic polymer: surface charge-dependent interaction with cancer cells

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Химия, 2018
Here, we prepared water-soluble highly luminescent CdSe/ZnS quantum dots having different surface charge and examined how zeta potential of quantum dots affected their uptake by cancer cells.

Carrier thermal escape in families of InAs/InP self-assembled quantum dots

open access: yes, 2009
We investigate the thermal quenching of the multimodal photoluminescence from InAs/InP (001) self-assembled quantum dots. The temperature evolution of the photoluminescence spectra of two samples is followed from 10 K to 300 K.

Nanoscale Agglomeration Mechanisms of BF‐DPB:BPyMPM Donor–Acceptor Systems for Organic Optoelectronic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The intermolecular and molecule‐substrate interactions and resulting molecular assembly of the OLED and OPV donor and acceptor molecules BF‐DPB and BPyMPM are investigated on different single crystalline substrates using high‐resolution scanning probe microscopy.

Sonochemical synthesis of silver nanoparticles using orange juice: Cytotoxic behaviour and applications

open access: yesHybrid Advances
One-pot open beaker green synthesis of silver nano-particles (Ag NPs) by ultrasound energy at room temperature is presented. Citrus fruit-mediated Ag NPs formation was monitored by observing surface plasmon resonance (SPR) by UV–Visible measurements ...

Switching From Acceptor to FRET Donor: How the Organic Solar Cell Architecture Can Change the Role of a Chromophore

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The non‐fullerene acceptor o‐IDT‐BT‐DCV is used in both binary and ternary blends to investigate the role that it plays in each device architecture. The charge generation pathways are found to differ between the binary and ternary blends with o‐IDT‐BT‐DCV becoming a second donor in the ternary blend.
